We are the Barzee’s and we have been fighting infertility for over 3.5 years. During this time I have been diagnosed with #endometriosis via laparoscopy in 2015 and low AMH. Although we have ‘some’ answers…at this point we are unexplained infertility. We tried Vitex and other supplements that were helping our friends get pregnant for almost a year. They didn’t work for us. Sooo…we moved on from trying on our own and found the best RE in Kansas City! Our goal: Get pregnant in 3 IUI’s with Letrozole! The only thing I got from those three treatments were some crazy mood swings.🙈The reality of getting pregnant hit after our third failed treatment. This was hard. We didn’t expect it…and neither did our doctor. Next steps: IUI with stim shots! We did two more rounds of treatment when we FINALLY got pregnant on our 5th IUI! We were overjoyed! The happiness that we felt was short but sooo sweet. Sadly, May 25, 2017, we had a miscarriage. Hand down – the hardest thing I have ever been through. It took some time for me to physically heal so we could try another round of treatment. Our 6th treatment failed. We couldn’t move forward with a 7th round due to cysts. Now we are prepping for IVF this summer and hoping we get blessed with our rainbow baby! It’s been a painful journey but we know there is something amazing in store! xx, Carissa
